The people should have been running a long time a go... After just visiting Iceland, i am already dreaming of Greenland. Superb video guys. The same kind of story as any "end of the world" movie, but worse. Less action than in Armageddon, less performance than in Deep Impact. Even 2012 or The Day After Tomorrow were 10 times better. Gerard Butler didn't made me believe in his character one second, Morena Baccarin is just OK. And until 5 minutes before the end, you ask yourself why is this movie called Greenland ? There are maybe 15 seconds of what is supposed to be Greenland in this movie. Go watch something else, anything else actually.

With the way we've been as a species, this one could be the feel good hit of summer. We see how practical and useful nuclear energy is. I love disaster movies but still had rather low expectations for this one. I hoped for a pleasant surprise but unfortunately it was an unpleasant one. Everything was cliche and not in the way that still can make a movie exciting. Everything was expected, even when the director tried to surprise the viewer. That makes for a movie that really shouldn't even be screening on the cinema, but be released straight to a streaming service. I was truly disappointed as I like Gerard Butler movies normally, but this script just didn't cut it.

Who else is checking this place out as it is a safe heaven from coronavirus. D. You can go to northern Canada to watch northern lights, all of Scandinavia too. Glad im moving to Greenland. There is sunin NUUK. wow. For real... I live no where near a coast line, and I know when ocean waters start reseeding, it's time to go to high ground... I hope they were ok... The tree huggers are now glacier huggers. Two years ago I watched a documentary like this which was hosted by a man and women who shared this nonsensical mentality and dribble. They were exploring areas in Alaska where glaciers were receding. They were very emotional about their favorite glacier receding a full mile revealing permafrost, plant life and forests that preceded the ice age. They resented this encroachment of life returning to inhabitable land. So ridiculous. The fossil record shows massive living creatures, giant bugs and plants all over land mass around the world before the great deluge before the great ice age. The earth goes through flux. The earth wobbles. Meteors strike. The planets and stars line up. Something catastrophic happens. Human life changes with it. Be wise. Stay sharp. Be prepared. It came out a year or more ago that Gates, Oprah, and other well to do duckies were/are building luxurious bunker homes in New Zealand and other such safe places to escape, survive, and oversee the SHTF. I think it's poetic justice that their well made plans are being disrupted by massive earthquakes, landslides, hurricanes, and other unpleasant upheavals. Population control. Hmph. They cannot control their own destiny.

Oh and Greenland might be a decent refuge in full on global warming. But massive asteroid strikes cause massive cooling similar to nuclear winter and you would want to be in the tropics.

A great documentary narrated by the voice of the Bible: Alexander Scourby. I will suggest people to watch "Deep Impact" again instead of watching this total waste of time piece. No one wants to watch 3 people trying to survive running here and there.
